The Ice Age Elephant

Where did mammoths live? 
Mammoths live in Northern Africa.
What did the mammoth eat?  
Their diet consisted of sedges, grasses, rushes, fruits, blue spruce and saltbrush wood.
What features of the mammoth were unique?
 The feature that is unique to the mammoth is their coat of woolly skin.
Where have the mammoth’s remains been found? 
Under cold ice in Asia, Europe, and Western North America.

What present-day animal does the mammoth resemble? 
The mammoth resembles an Elephant. But, a woolly mammoth is woollier and bigger than an Elephant.
