Revising Sentences

Jenny brushed Pegasus down and threw a saddle blanket and pad over his back before she went to get his saddle from the tack room. By the time she returned, he had reached around, pulled the pad, blanket off and dropped them on the sawdust floor. "Oh, you're going to be like that," she scolded as Jenny picked them up and brushed them off. But Pegasus wasn't done, he kicked over the trash can that was directly behind him.

Quilts are Beautiful bedspreads, they are made by sewing together many types of cloth patches. Old shirts, dresses and other types of colorful clothing are good material for patches. Some people even go to used fabric stores to buy the fabric for these patches. In the past,  neighbors, friends and relatives give one another scraps of clothing to make the quilts. So for each scrap, there is an interesting story about it's owner.

The hungry ants

One summer morning, in a park there were 3 hungry ants. One is named Fred, the 2nd is Bob and the 3rd is Tom. One day while they were playing hide and seek on the grassy lawn, they saw some food on a picnic table. “Look guys, there’s food on that table. Come let us climb up.” Bob said looking very excited. “Okay! Come on, I’m so hungry.” said Fred ready to eat the snacks.

They quickly ran to the picnic table, climbed up and munched on the French fries that Bob was holding. “Yummy! These fries can last a whole month for the three of us!” Tom said happily munching on the fries. After a few hours, the family that brought the picnic came to the table. “Oh no! There are ants on the table!” said a girl who saw the ants. “Let’s get out of here ants!” Bob said taking the bread that he was munching.

The whole family started slamming the picnic table to kill the ants. Luckily, they managed to escape before they got killed. “Phew! Good thing we ran as fast as we can.” Fred said wiping off his sweat from running. “You can say that again. But next time we should just ask them for food.” said tom.

What I learned: You should ask for stuff that you don’t own because when you steal, you can end up in great danger.
