Why is earth a special and unique planet?

Earth is a special planet because it is the only planet that can support life. It is so special that God put us in a zone so that we will not be frozen and we will not be so hot. Atmosphere, this word is from the word atmos which means steam in Latin and sphere which means ball. So if you combine them together, atmosphere means ball of steam. Why am I telling you about the earth's atmosphere? It is because that our atmosphere is the only air that can let us survive while the other's atmospheres are not. The earth is made up of 4 layers. The first one is called crust, the second is called mantle, the third is outer core and the fourth is inner core. Crust is the layer we stand on. This includes, sand, soil, dirt, rocks and many more. The crust also contains the mountains, oceans, trees, and the houses that we stand on. Mantle is made out of semisolid rock and it is very far away from where we are standing. The mantle is the hottest layer in earth. The outer core is made out of iron and nickel. This layer is important because the magnetic field depends on this layer. The center of the earth is also made out of iron and nickel, but those metals are different. Earth is a very special planet because God's fingerprints are all over earth. In other words, when we look at the things around us, we can see that only a very wise and very talented God Has made all of this for us. So that is why Earth is a special and unique planet.

Lizzie, the ugliest girl in the world

Lizzie was voted the ugliest girl in the world. She was born with a very rare syndrome that only 2 people are known to have it. Her syndrome is she could not gain weight. She could nearly gain about 64 pounds of weight. She is also visually impaired in the right eye. I understand her problem by the video from TEDx. The reason for her suffering is because of God's works may be shown by the help of the people like Lizzie. She said in her speech, "What defines you?" What defines Lizzie is her goals and success, not the people that are making her suffer. I think this is the suffering of Lizzie because God wants us see that he could heal the people that are suffering through his eyes.

How Silk Is Made

Silk is made from a silkworm. People use the silkworm's cocoons to turn it into silk and sew it into dresses which are expensive. They wait util the worm finally comes out of it's cocoon and they take the cocoon. They first take the cocoon and soak it in water until all of the cocoons are clean. After that they put all the the cocoons into a wheel that spins them into a circle until they are soft enough, When the cocoons are soft enough, they are stretched by a machine. After stretching and soaking the workers put them in the sun to dry. Then, they deliver them to the people who sew the silk together to make a dress. The people who sew, put some color to the clothes to make them colorful. The workers finally deliver the dresses that are sewn, to boutiques and shops in the mall so that people can buy it, wear it and strut through the streets wearing a very expensive clothing made from silkworms.

Mahal kong Ginoo o Ginang,

the Israelites in slavery

When I did the Activity I imagined that I was one of the workers making bricks for the pyramids. I made the bricks out of grass, water and paper clay. Paper-clay is clay that hardens by itself you don't need to bake it. First you need to mix all the ingredients together, then you need to mix it with your hands. It might get a little dirty. After that you need to sculpt it into rectangular shapes. And you just need to let them dry overnight. I think when making hundreds and thousands of this you won't get to spend time with you family because you will be working day and night. When the bricks dry, you can paint them. And then you can make any building out of your made bricks.
