Title of the book: Pippi Longstocking

Author: Astrid Lindgren

The characters: Pippi, Tommy Annika, and Mr. Nilsson.

About the characters: Pippi is a girl that lives in a house across the street, She is very strong, She wears long stockings, shoes that are slightly bigger than her normal feet and she has no parents to tell what to do but she has Mr Nilsson, her pet monkey, Tommy and Annika have perents and they live in a house just beside Pippi's house,

What is about? It is about Pippi moving in Villa Villekulla with her pet monkey. There she met 2 new friends to play with, Tommy and Annika. They always visit her and play in her attic. One day, They decided to bring Pippi to school so that she will learn. But when she was there she started annoying the teacher. So the teacher told the students to go to the yard and she talked to Pippi. While they were talking, She was starting to like Pippi. And when their talk was over, Pippi gave the teacher a gold watch. After a few weeks it was Pippi's birth day. She started with all the decorations, scrubbed the floor and the table for eating. After that she made all the invitations and the banner. When it as 5;00, all the guests arrived. They ate and sang and played all day long.

What did you learn? I learned that it is best if you have a family to love you. Because the best people you always want to be with is your family

Response: My favorite character was Pippi. Because she was the funniest and the she traveled the whole world without her parents. I think that means that she is a girl that can handle herself. My favorite scene was when Pippi celebrated her birthday. Because, you have to celebrate your birthday to grow up or have a future even though it is not as elegant as the King and Queen's birthday party for their children.
