NCR also known as Metro Manila

NCR is made up of 15 cities and 1 municipality. NCR is called the political center of the Philippines because the executive, legislative and the judicial are in NCR. The president of the Philippines lives in Malacanang while the senators' office is in Pasay. The house of representatives' office, the batasan pambansa is located in Quezon city and the Supreme Court is in Manila.

NCR is also a center of commerce and business because most of the offices are in Metro Manila. One example is Makati city, the financial capital of the country. The traditional business center of filipino chinese business men is located in Binondo, Manila.

I is also the center of education because the majority of the big universities are located here. Like Ateneo de manila, University of the Philippines which is located in Quezon city and UST which is in Manila.

Although Metro Manila is a progressive region, it also faces many problems. One of the problems is, pollution. There are too many cars, trucks and motorcycles. They produce bad air that we breath in causing us to have coughs. Another problem in Metro Manila is the squatters area. They build homes without the permission of the government and expand as more squatters join the rest, build more homes and lessen the amount of fresh plants to breath.

Despite these problems I still like Metro Manila. In fact I would like to visit all of the wonderful places in metro Manila. Such as Manila ocean park, Luneta park, Museo pambata, etc.
