What I learned from the story of Abraham, Jacob and Esau and Joseph

This blog is about the lessons I learned from Abraham, Jacob, Esau and Joseph. I will start with Abraham and what I learned from him is always believe that God will be there for you. Abraham believed that God will be beside him on his journey. Jacob and Esau's story taught us that you should always be true to yourself and others. Because if you don't you're the one that is going to get hurt in the end. Jacob lied to his father by pretending to be Esau. By doing that, he was sent away from his city. Joseph on the other hand has 2 lessons. One is you should not hurt others. Joseph's brothers are jealous of him so they hurt him and in the end they got a punishment. And the other one is love your enemies the way you love your friends. Joseph's brothers sold him to Midianites and he stayed in Egypt for a long time and when he went home he forgave his brothers for being so mean to him. These are all the lessons from Abraham, Jacob, Esau and Joseph.

My first trip to U.S.A

My first trip to USA was a blast. I first went to Los Angeles. Then, the next day, we went to new york and stayed there for two days. After that we took a bus to Canada and stayed there for one week while mama went to cincinnati and stayed there for 5 days. While we were in Canada, we stayed in tita arlene's home and went to a lot of places. We went to downtown, the mall and we met ninang anne. While we were in ninang anne's house w met a new baby. her name was Martina. i played for hours and hours with her. I had fun with her because she had a lot of toys. After a few hours, we went home and slept. The day that I will never forget is when I went to ninang anne's house again and I slept there. The next day we went to a friend's house and picked her up. Then we went to the great wolf lodge and we swam there. I swam in the wave pool, the lazy pool, the Jacuzzi and we even went into the mammoth slide where we went in a tube and we sat down in a large tube filled with water. I really had a fun day.

About the characters:  Nicky loves open spaces and nature, Colette is energetic and full of great ideas, Violet likes to unwind by listening to classical music and drinking green tea, Paulina is shy and a bit clumsy, Pamela wants to be a car mechanic when she grows up, Professor Sagefur is a friend of paulina's mom and dad, Gonzalo is the son of professor Sagefur and Paco Manadunca is an unsclupulous archaeologist.

what is about? It is about the thea sisters going to Peru to find  professor Sagefur and Gonzalo. While they were searching and climbing the Andes Mountains they find clues leading them to a mysterious city.

What did you learn? I learned that stealing is not a good thing. When you want something just ask that person if you could have it or not.

Response: I think my favorite character was Nicky. Because she was the most energetic of the Thea sisters.My favorite scene is when they found the room of the secret city full of paintings and treasure chests.

About the characters: Nicky loves open spaces and nature, Colette is energetic and full of great ideas, Violet likes to unwind by listening to classical music and drinking green tea, Paulina is shy and a bit clumsy, Pamela wants to be a car mechanic when she grows up, Rhonda is Nicky's competitor in the Big Apple marathon and Phoenix is the thea sisters' friend who wants to burn Pamela's house just to get them away.

What is it about? It is about the Thea sisters going to new York to cheer for Nicky as she runs in the big apple marathon. While they stay in Pamela's family house and have dinner there, they got news that a rodent named Phoenix is burning the houses. When they were exploring the basement of the house they saw a rodent wearing a garbage collector suit and when they got closer to the rodent it ran away from them and they found some red paint and something written on th wall. They also found a letter with a stamp of a skull on it.

How did they solve the problem? They solved the plot by going into the basement of their friend who they think is Phoenix and they found a garbage collector suit, red paint and a stamp of a skull, they chased Phoenix, tied his arms behind him and reported their case and he went to jail.

What did you learn? When Nicky ran the marathon, she saw a competitor slip and fall on the ground and Nicky helped her. I learned that you should always help a person even if you are mad at him or her.

Response: My favorite scene is when Nicky helped Rhonda to get up and finish the marathon because Nicky plays as a good sport, she helps people even if people don't ask her. I also liked the scene when Paulina climed the ladder of the fire truck and jumped on the car of Phoenix just to stop him. I like this book because it shows a very important lesson to learn and understand.

How is Satan created?

Before the world was created God first created the Angels. Since we have billions of people, God must have created billions of Angels.  One of these angels was the General. And his name is Lucifer. Since he was the General, God gave him all the rubies on him. Since he was the General he thought that he can boss everyone and be greedy. Since God can read everyone's hearts God read Lucifer's heart. Sin, greed and being higher than God is what is inside Lucifer's heart. When God saw that in Lucifer's heart he believes in Sin, greed and being higher than God , he sent Lucifer to earth and to the underworld and below heaven. Lucifer said that is in unfair that he is on the underworld and God is above him. And when Lucifer sinned his friends joined him and became demons. And that is how Satan, the first sinner was created.

Fact:

God made the animals. But the diseases caused by the animals was made by Satan causing us to feel sick and weak.

Ang alamat ng mansanas

Sa isang bayan ng Antipolo, nakatira ang isang batang palaging nagagalit. Ang pangalan niya ay, Mina. Kasama niya ang tatay niya na si Mang Alfredo sa isang kubo. Si Mina ay may isang matalik na kaibigan na ang pangalan ay Maurice. Isang araw si Mina at si Maurice ay naglalaro ng takbuhan ng biglang nabanga ni Maurice si Mina. Nagalit si Mina at pinalo si Maurice. Umiyak at umuwi si Maurice. Nakita ni Mang Alfredo si Mina na pinalo niya si Maurice. Tinawag at pinagalitan siya. Sumigaw at nagalit si Mina sa kaniyang tatay. Umakyat si Mina sa taas at natulog. Napanaginipan niya na natapakan niya ang isang maliit na buto at naging kulay pula. Bigla siyang tinawag ng kaniyang ama upang kumain. Natulog nalang si Mina at binaliwala ang tatay niya. "Gabi na at hindi pa kumakain si Mina." sabi ng tatay. "Hayaan ko na lang siya magluto," at natulog na si Mang Alfredo. Makalipas ang ilang minuto, nagutom at lumabas si Mina at tinawag niya ang ama upang magluto. Gumising si Mang Alfredo at bumaba papunta sa kusina. Sinabi ni Mang Alfredo na inaantok na siya at si Mina na lang ang mag luto. Nagalit ulit si Mina at naging pula ang mukha. "Mina, kapag ikaw ay palaging nagagalit ang iyong mukha ay nagiging pula. Sa kalaunan ang iyong buong katawan ay magiging pula na rin.," ang sabi ni Mang Alfredo. Lumabas si Mina at nagtampo dahil ayaw niya na pinagsasabihan siya. Hindi niya alam na habang tumatakbo siya ay nakatapak siya ng isang mahiwagang buto. Narinig ng buto ang sinabi ng tatay at naging isang matamis na prutas si Mina. Ang tawag sa prutas na ito ay mansanas. Galing sa buo niyang pangalang Mina Sasmundo. Umaga na at hinahanap ni Mang Alfredo si Mina ng biglang nakita niya ang mansanas. Naalala niya ang anak dahil sa kulay pula niyang kulay. Kinagatan niya ito at matamis ang loob gaya ng pagmamahal ni Mina sa tatay niya. Nasaan si Mina? Siya ay nasa isang malayong lugar. Doon niya matututunan ang pagmamahalan at kasiyahan.

Ano ang natutunan mo dito sa alamat?

Ang natutunan ko sa alamat na ito ay, kahit gaano ka kagalit sa isang tao, alam mo na sa isang maliit na parte ng puso mo ay mahal mo pa din siya.

There are times when dry season is very long and farmers are very much affected by it. What can the Government do to help the farmers? Explain the effect of climate and weather to one's livelihood

The Government should create an irrigation system and get the water from mountains, waterfalls and rivers for their rice plantation. For example the farmers, their crops would wither easily and the farmers wouldn't have enough time to water all of their plants. But when the Government creates the irrigation system it would be easier. As for the animals they would have less water and could die causing extinction.


What can the Filipinos do in preservation of the rare plants and animals in the country? Find out the importance of the country's vegetation and animal species.

For example, the tarsier, they are almost extinct. I think the Filipinos can build a cage for them but without a roof and because the tarsier lives in forests so they can plant some trees plants and there the tarsier could have a home and they could prevent them from being extinct. And the zookeepers can train them for shows so that the tarsier could experience some fun and when they are trained and people visit them they would not be shy and just hide in their homes. As for the plants the Government could build a greenhouse with shadles for roofs so that the plants can get sunlight but not too much sunlight and there would be a sprinkler in the middle of the plants so that every plant can get water from it.



Why should the Government consider the protection of vegetation in undertaking projects for development?

The Government should take good care of the plants because if they ruin them and they build a small town the people living there wouldn't have fresh air to breath in. And that town would be like theneedville from the lorax. The mayor just sells fresh air and doesn't want a single tree in his town.
